In 2010, Mr. von Furstenberg extended his support to the Beverly Hills Police Officers Association (BHPOA) in solidarity with the police force. He pledged $25,000 for the association’s 22nd Annual Black & White Ball, which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The event benefited the BHPOA’s Medical Trust Fund, which supports retired police officers and their families, and active personnel who need financial assistance.
